The JAF DTS includes 12 weeks of bilingual (French/ English) lectures in the town of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort. Students will grow in their faith with subjects like 'The Father Heart of God' and 'Fear of the Lord' as well as being better equipped for ministry to the exploited with more Justice themed lectures such as The Demand and the Sources, Ministering to the Marginalised, and the Mercy and Justice of God.
Throughout the Lecture Phase, we’ll spend time in class, listening to teaching, worshipping, praying, serving the community in daily tasks, and sharing in small groups and one-on-ones with staff.
Outreach is the second 12 week phase of your DTS and will take place in different countries in the world. Some places we have sent teams to in the past are different cities in France (Paris, Montpellier, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille), Kosovo, Togo, French Polynesia, Thailand, India, Nepal and Cambodia. The Outreach is where you get to expand your horizons and put into practice all God has been teaching you during the lecture phase.
Outreach activities include evangelism, mercy ministries, teaching, children’s ministries, preaching, prophesying and reaching out to present Jesus in a variety of other creative, apostolic ways.
